The Captain 
 
Salvatore Taranto was born on Salina in 1962, the island being one of the seven pearls of the Aeolian islands. An “old sea dog”, he has been sailing around the Mediterranean since the age of 15.
For 20 years he captained fishing vessels, sailing the waters around Spain, Tunisia and Greece. From 2001 to 2011 he captained vessels for passenger traffic, and he now takes on a new adventure in the seas where he grew up.
Enjoy his knowledge of the most beautiful places in the Aeolian Islands when you sail with him.

The Skipper 
 
Angelo Taranto was born in 1985 and has been a sailor since 2001. Until 2006 he worked with his father, and then embarked on new experiences in the field of hotel and restaurant management. In 2011 he started to work with his father again.
Angelo is at your disposal for any needs you may have.
 
Food and beverages officer
 
Vanessa Taranto was born in 1988, and is a young but extremely talented chef. She will prepare you traditional Aeolian-island dishes, the recipes for which have been handed down to Vanessa by her mother, Assunta. Aeolian cuisine is simple and genuine, and is mainly fish and shellfish-based, but there are plenty of other wonderful ingredients too.
Lunch and dinner can be accompanied by the excellent Sicilian wines that you will be able to choose from our wine list, with our expert advice.
